I have been so lucky to be able to turn my hobby into a prospering career. I have shot hundreds of weddings over the years and each and every one presents a new and exciting adventure. I am constantly looking for new ways to document your day in the most exciting, dramatic and artistic way I can. I have always taken the "fly on the wall" approach. Just letting things unfold naturally before my eyes is so much better than I could ever imagine trying to stage or pose.
A few things you may have questions about:
- I always have an assistant with me at all weddings. They shoot some of the time but are mainly there to help me with lighting and other demands of the day.
- I provide unlimited coverage for the day of the wedding (up to 9 hours) no matter what package you choose. I am there two hours before the ceremony unless you choose to see each other beforehand in which I will arrive 3 hours before the ceremony in order to get all formal pictures done previous to the ceremony.
- Although I am an artistic photojournalistic photographer that shoots mainly the natural and real moments, I do shoot formal pictures as well. I realize that everyone needs a few of the "stand and smile." It's just a very small part of your day and the most boring for everyone so I pride myself in getting them done quickly and accurately.
